Susie Lane has graduated with honors from The Art Institute – Seattle, Culinary School and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Washington State University. Susie has also worked as a flight attendant for a major airline for over 13 years. In 2005, she decided to use her culinary background and her customer service skills together and consequently, her personal chef business, The Kitchen Door was born. She now provides meal delivery in Snoqualmie to homes and businesses. “Cooking has been a passion of mine since as far back as I can remember, maybe dating back to my Easy Bake Oven? My idea of fun on a Saturday morning was to bring a full spread ‘breakfast in bed’ to my parents. I have many fond memories of cooking with my mom and grandma from over the years.” My parents always said, “Figure out your passion and find a way to make a living at it.” So, here I am! Susie has repeat customers and provides meal delivery to Mercer Island and greater Seattle.
